1623 Count Bengt Gabrielsson Oxenstierna (1623â1702) was a Swedish soldier and statesman, who served as Foreign Minister from 1680 to 1697. During this period, he ensured Sweden remained neutral and moved away from its traditional French alliance.

1715 Charles de Rohan (16 July 1715 â 1 July 1787), duke of Rohan-Rohan, seigneur of Roberval, and marshal of France from 1758, was a military man, and a minister to the kings Louis XV and Louis XVI. The last male of his branch of the House of Rohan, he was also the great-grandfather to the duc d’Enghien, executed by Napoleon in 1804. Styled prince d’Epinoy at birth, he became the Prince of Soubise after 1749.
1823 James Isham Gilbert (16 July 1823-8 Feb 1884) was a Union general during the American Civil War. He served with distinction in the Western theaters of the war as a regimental and brigade commander.

1921 Bernard William Rogers (July 16, 1921 â October 27, 2008) was a United States Army general who served as the 28th Chief of Staff of the United States Army, and later as NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander, Europe and Commander in Chief, United States European Command. Besides the Distinguished Service Cross, Rogers’ decorations included the Defense Distinguished Service Medal, the Silver Star, four awards of the Legion of Merit and three awards of the Distinguished Flying Cross.
