Today is the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Lundy’s Lane in the War of 1812. This was one of the bloodiest battles of that short and not so well known war. The battle was fought beginning at dusk and continued up to midnight. The place was about 70 miles from here in Ontario, Canada not far from Niagara Fall.
