Major General Norbert J. Rappl has passed away on 15 March 2022
He was a graduate of Aquinas High School, Rochester, NY and went on to graduate from St. Bonaventure University in 1952. After serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, General Rappl became a local businessman as president of two local companies.
General Rappl stayed in the U.S. Army and was promoted to the rank of Major General. He served as the Commanding Officer of the 98th Division (âThe Iroquois Divisionâ, a U.S. Army Reserve training division) from 1982 â 1987.
