We are located in the historic Anderson Arts Building. What makes it so historic? During the second World War the E.P. Reed shoe company was located here. It produced woman’s shoes for the US Army.
When first constructed the building was designed with two history making features for the Rochester area. The first was a dedicated fire suppression system. This was in response to the the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire that killed over 140 garment workers in New York City. The second was enough indoor toilets so the employees did not have to leave the building to go to the bathroom.
